2010 has
been the busiest year ever for Tree House Studios. Recent
artists that have recorded their original music at Tree House
Studios include Lemon Days, a fantastic 5-piece band from East
Meadow, NY; Jo Gencorelli, pianist extraordinaire; Josh Joffen
and Roger Silverberg, folk singer/songwriters; Debra Lynne,
recording country/folk/pop/rock songs with Tom Rizzacasa, Dave
Cutrone, Rich Shapiro, Jim Dexter and Kevin McCleod and a
whole roster of artists starting their projects off in the New
Year. Mastering and video transferring projects are
rounding out the end of this year, as we look forward to a
great 2011.
On February 28, Debra and Chris from Tree
House Studios, in conjunction with Janet Grace, ran a benefit for the
earthquake victims in Haiti called "Triumph for Haiti 2010." Proceeds were donated to Habitat for
Humanity.
In the March issue of Aural Fix magazine, an article about this benefit concert was written by Kathy Fleischmann. It mentioned Debra, Chris, Melanie, Violet
Vier, Janet Grace and many other Tree House recording artists, and a picture of Violet Vier was on the front page!
